I like this hole in the wall. I come for beer and wings. Always satisfies. Chill out. Kick back. Enjoy the tunes and food. If you love America, you'll love Riptidez.

Nope. It's smells overwhelmingly like old fryer grease and std's. Walked in to a bunch of white men and loose looking women with random kids running around. Felt like a time warp back to the 90's and that a fight was going to break out at any moment bc ppl were so drunk. Didn't feel safe and with all of the recklessness going on right now,
wasn't worth it. Walked right on out. -

Came here just to have a couple drinks and a bite to eat..... Small local kind of neighborhood bar. Friendly staff, fun bartendar, and just a fun place to burn some time. Food was delicious... we had the wings which were great with all types of sauces on the side to dip.
Da Cheese State is now official in NC.... We will be back to check on our WI chalk drawing.... SHELEN! Shayn n Helen was here! -

Love this place!!! It feels like stepping back in time. This is a true family-friendly bar and grill. Look around. No one on cell phones lost in their solitary world of social media. People are talking, laughing, eating and having a good time. Food was amazing. We enjoyed the smokehouse burger, substituted onion rings for chips and the chicken cheddar bacon wrap, substituted side house salad for chips. The burger was delicious. Handmade, juicy pattie perfectly balanced with cheese and bacon on a soft bun. The beer battered onion rings were crispy on the outside and tender onion in the center. The chicken wrap was pressed, served warm and delicious!! The side house salad is an interesting blend of chopped flavors. We had the blue cheese dressing with ours. It was creamy with chunks of blue cheese. Overall this place was unexpectedly delightful. It's the kind of place where locals love to hang out, because everybody knows their name, and where tourists are thrilled to stumble upon while vacationing because they know they hit a local jackpot!!
